Activis as the company experienced in data transmission and network devices offers specialised devices designed for network integrators or final producers. Two examples of products finalised for our partners are listed below:

GPRS telemetry modular system

System is dedicated for remote data readout from measuring or alarm devices. Data are sent to the service center using GPRS transmission. The teletransmission module is equipped with four serial interfaces and four alert inputs.  large capacity lithium-ion battery, provides many years’ operation without the need to replace. It can also be locally supplied with 230 V. Module is mounted in the plastic case with sealed closing. Dedicated software is available for processing the data obtained through the Internet on the customer’s server. System is dedicated for applications, consisting in systematic data gathering in places where the access is difficult or where the 230 V supply is unavailable.

PLC transmission modem

The PLC modem enables RS-485 or RS-232 interface signal transmission using 230V power line. It operates within the 60 ÷ 86 kHz band using six transmission channels. It provides transmission rate of 600 ÷ 4 800 bauds in half duplex system. The transmission range is several dozen to a several hundred meters and depends on network interference level. The modems are intended for cooperation with control, inspection and alarm devices equipped with serial interface.

The PLC modems are available in two versions:

• base modem – connected directly to the the main controll computer
• network unit – for cooperation with controlled devices (remote device, alarm sensor, energy and other media counter, etc.)

One or often applied applications for such modems are intelligent street lighting systems.
